He is survived by: his wife Verna; his children, Gary Allgeier Charlie (Mitzi), Linette Allgeier and Gwen Moreland (Medford); his grandchildren, Patrick Allgeier, Natalie Winkelman, Olivia Hall, Tatum True, Samantha Howe, Chaselyn Allgeier and Ryan Allgeier; and his great grandchildren, Grant Winkelman and Collins Packer.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John the Apostle Catholic Church (515 Broadway St, Brandenburg, KY 40108). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
