She was predeceased by: her parents, Elbridge Gerry and Leona McNeal Gaines; her husband William "Bill" Bennett; her siblings, Elbridge "Ebb" Gerry, George Robert Gaines, Mary and Nancy Jane; her daughter-in-law Cathy Bennett (Bill); her granddaughter Emily Nicole Logsdon; and her brothers-in-law, Owen Montgomery and Brad Lorton.
She is survived by: her children, William Gaines Bennett of Brandenburg, Bruce Hardin Bennett (Cathy) of Brandenburg, Robert Elbridge Bennett of Brandenburg and Beth Ann Logsdon (Jonathan) of Flaherty; her sister Leona Lorton of Ekron; and her grandchildren, Rebecca Johns (Brian), Keith Bennett (Stacie), Ashley Bennett, Amie Richardson (Derek), Megan Lee Whelan (Eric), Cassandra Bennett and Amanda Zimmerman (Dave). She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
