It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Albert McCollum (Brandenburg, Kentucky), born in Muldraugh, Kentucky, who passed away on May 22, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Marchie James McCollum, Sr. and Flora Ethel Poole McCollum; his wife Jo Ann Chappell McCollum; his son Timothy Lewis McCollum; his siblings, Marchie James "Max" McCollum, Jr., Darrell Lee McCollum, Carmon Ray "Butch" McCollum and Ethel Marie McCollum; his granddaughter Amy McCollum; and his great grandchild Alexis Fromme.
He is survived by: his children, Lloyd McCollum (Paula) of Brandenburg, James Paul McCollum of Louisville and Pamela Jo Chism (Brad) of Brandenburg; his sister Mary Claycomb of Irvington; his daughter-in-law Donna McCollum of Brandenburg; his grandchildren, Trina Dunn, Donald Fromme, Aaron Chism, Troy Tincher, Angelia Rhea, Dr. Amanda Chism, Nathan McCollum, Josh McCollum and Dallas Stanfield; his daughter Pam Chism; and his granddaughter-in-law Katrina Chism. He is also survived by 23 great-grandchildren; and 5 1/2 great-great-grandchildren.
