With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Samuel Lee Wright Sr. (Bradfordsville, Kentucky), born in Lebanon, Kentucky, who passed away on April 19, 2018 at the age of 83. He was predeceased by: his wife Theresa Sapp Wright; his children, Samuel Lee Wright Jr. and Ivy Mae Wright; and his siblings, Ann Rose Funk, Charles Wright and Wallace Wright.

He is survived by: his children, Joyce Ann Rawlings and Jimmy Wright; and his siblings, Doug Wright (Barbara Jo) of Lebanon, Gertie Mae Newton of Lebanon and Margaret Hughes (Jodie) of Lebanon. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
