He was predeceased by: his parents, Kirk L. Cole and Audrey Lowe Cole; his siblings, Kenneth, Don, Ralph, David, Steven, Eleanor Dawsey and Katheleen Schickel; and his son Stephen D. Cole.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Elkin Cole; his children, Mark Cole (Janet), Renai Richey Wiggins (Don), Lesli Mitchell (Graham) and Mary Kirk Holbrook (Luke); his sister Joann Puckett; and his grandchildren, Matthew Cole (Jill), Stephanie Nester (Dean), Gabrielle White (Richard), Michael Richey, Stuart Cole (Meghan), Andrew Cole, Kassie Mitchell Abby (Austin) and Frazier Holbrook. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren and one great great grandson and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Bowling Green Cumberland Presbyterian Church or Hosparus Health Barren River.
