She was predeceased by: her parents, Bentley Monroe and Mary Cumens Hicks; her son Edward Nolen Floyd, Jr.; and her great grandchild Hudson James Lee. She is survived by: her son Bentley Floyd (Marlane) of Bowling Green; her grandchildren, Jason Floyd (Audrey Armstrong) and Amber Floyd Lee (Derrick Compton) of Johnson City, TN; her great grandchildren, Ansley Harmon, Avery Harmon, Caleb Floyd, Willow Floyd, Arden Lee and Juniper Floyd; and her niece Charlene Tucker (Martha Jackson).

Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Johnson-Vaughn-Phelps Funeral Home, Inc. (901 Fairview Ave, Bowling Green, KY 42101). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Grapevine Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Bowling Green/Warren County Humane Society.
