He is survived by: his wife Shirley Smalling (Morris); his children, Harold Smalling (Sheila), Hilda Provost (Michael) and Terri Dickson (late David); his brother Wendell Smalling (Dorothy); his sisters-in-law, Marie Smalling and Shirley A. Smalling; and his grandchildren, Jacey Kline (J. D.), Sarah Smalling (Eric), Harry Smalling, Daniel Smalling, Victoria Heinze (Jeffrey) and Grace Dickson.
