The memory of Steven Wayne Martin of Bowling Green, Kentucky, who passed away on February 20, 2025 at the age of 65, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Wallace Thomas Martin and Zella Mae Martin Tucker; his stepfather Ron Tucker; his siblings, Michelle Miller and Paul Martin; and his close friend Mikey Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Cathy Boyer; his sons, DJ Martin (Holly), Steven Wayne Martin Jr. (Samantha) and Joshua Dewayne Martin (Holly); the mother of his children Mary Bryant; his siblings, Darla Johnson (Darrell), Wanda Winkler (Scott), Russell Martin (Debbie) and Thomas "Big Tom" York (Christina); and his grandchildren, Austin, Nick, Hailee, Abby, Chris and J'Kayla. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the J. C. Kirby & Son Broadway Chapel (832 Broadway Ave, Bowling Green, KY 42101). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the J. C. Kirby & Son Funeral Chapel (832 Broadway Ave, Bowling Green, KY 42101). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at 786 Benleo Rd, Bowling Green, KY 42101.
