She was predeceased by: her husband David Dotson; her parents, Daniel Rogers and Mable Burton Young; her children, James Daniel Dotson and Penny Wester; and her siblings, Faye Thomas, Jo Chyle, Janice Amos, Dana Smith and William Carl Rogers.
She is survived by: her son Allen Dotson (Tammy); her grandchildren, Danny Wester (Rita), Beth Wester, Chadd Wester (Ashley), Thaddeus Dotson (Morgan), Benjamin Dotson (Kailey), Lucas Dotson and Maggie Grace Hunt (Kaleb); her children-in-law, Tammy Lynch (JD) and Roger Wester (Donna); her brother Rick Young; and her caregiver Yvette Pierantoni. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
