Sal Lizard Obituary

We are sad to announce that on April 16, 2025, at the age of 70, Sal Lizard (Bowling Green, Kentucky) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas C. Gorham (Frosty) and Anna Ruth Owens; his wife Linda; and his siblings, James Owens and Debbie Hollars.

He is survived by: his daughters, Ashley Sawyer and Erica McWhorter-Adams; his grandchildren, Layla Sawyer, Easton Jaggers, Madelynn Adams and Mason Adams; and his siblings, Samuel Owens (Sandi), Judy Gorham Marlin, Peggy Gorham McReynolds (Chuck), Joanne Engles and Mary Daws. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Sal's legacy lives on through his contributions to film, his dedication to bringing joy as Santa Claus, and the warmth he shared with all who knew him.
