He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl "Preacher" Coleman and Lucille Coleman (Fulcher); his son Jimmy Dean Coleman; his wife Linda Williams Coleman; and his siblings, Lily Coleman, Caroline Coleman, Jerry Coleman and Tony Coleman.

He is survived by: his close friend Becky Denning; his sons, Craig Allen Coleman of Franklin, KY, David Denning of Bowling Green, KY and Brian Carver of Bowling Green, KY; and his siblings, Ruth Law of Franklin, KY, Ray Coleman of Franklin, KY, Mike Coleman of Franklin, KY and Kenneth Coleman of Glasgow, KY. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 6:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Gilbert Funeral Home (325 W Cedar St, Franklin, KY 42134). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Greenlawn Cemetery (420 Cemetery St, Franklin, KY 42134).
