He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert William Armstrong, Sr. and Leatha Norene Curnell; his sons, Butch Armstrong and Steve Chandler; and his sister Geraldine.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Jackson Armstrong; his daughters, Mickie Cooper (Mike) of Franklin, TN and Judy Sampson (Roy) of Woodburn, KY; his daughter-in-law Lindy Chandler of Memphis, TN; his stepson Lane Jackson (Christy) of Brentwood, TN; and his nephew Dallas. He is also survived by six grandchildren, six great grandchildren, three sisters.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM at the J. C. Kirby & Son Lovers Lane Chapel (820 Lovers Ln, Bowling Green, KY 42103). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Fairview Cemetery (1209 Fairview Ave, Bowling Green, KY 42103).
