He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Johns and Lora Weaver Johns; his wife Mycola Johns; and his sister Loretta Johns. He is survived by: his children, Johnny Johns (LaRae), Mary Jo Johns and Jimmy Johns (Tammy); his grandchildren, Emily Johns, Ellie Long (Trey) and Zach Johns; and his siblings-in-law, Kimble Willoughby (Brenda), Glendal Willoughby (Phyllis), Bettie Johnson (Chuck) and Rachel Steenbergen (Roger). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, April 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the J. C. Kirby & Son Lovers Lane Chapel (820 Lovers Ln, Bowling Green, KY 42103). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
