He was predeceased by: his wife Connie Simpson; his parents, Glynn Simpson and Dorothy Simpson; and his sister Barbara Cox. He is survived by: his sons, Zach Simpson (Katelyn) and Joel Simpson (Ashland); his grandchildren, Tyler Simpson, Zoey Simpson and Theodore Simpson; his sister-in-law Robin Fenwick; his nieces, Gabrielle, Francesca (Austin), Robin Palmer (Pete) and Glenda Pfaadt; and his nephew David Cox (Patti).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Hospice of Southern Kentucky.
