Philip Jessie Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 8, 2025, at the age of 86, Philip Jessie of Bowling Green, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Jessie and Eunice Fields Jessie; and his siblings, Sonora Jessie, Naomi Gilbert, Cleo Conner, Phyllis Lindsey, Betty Lindsey and Sue Yates.
He is survived by: his wife Della Minyard Jessie; his grandchildren, Adam Morgan (Tiffanie), Colby Glasscock (Lauren) and Seth Glasscock (Leah); his great grandchildren, Britton Jenkins, Anniston Glasscock and Tenlie Morgan; his great great grandchild Braelynn Floyd; and his brother Dan Jessie (Gracie). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Johnson Vaughn Phelps Funeral Home (901 Fairview Ave, Bowling Green, KY 42101). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In addition to his professional endeavors, he made significant contributions to his community as a faithful member of Cedar Hill United Baptist Church, where he served diligently as a deacon.
