He was predeceased by: his parents, Ethel Hoechner and Frederick C. Hoechner; and his brother Frederick. He is survived by: his wife Susan; his children, Gretchen and Fritz (Ryanne); his grandson Asher; his siblings-in-law, Carole Supplee and Steve Owen (Sue); and his cousins, Diana and Michael Barr (Barbara).
