We are sad to announce that on September 16, 2024, at the age of 81, Katherine (Kathy) Harris (Bowling Green, Kentucky), born in Mount Sterling, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Dock Scott, Sr. and Alpha B. Vititoe Scott; her grandparents, George W Vititoe, Hattie C Vititoe, Doctor Y. A. Scott and Matilda H Scott; her husband F. Arthur Harris; her brother Martin Dock Scott, Jr.; her daughter Anissa R. Harris; her nephew William Scott; and her niece Deanna Scott.
She is survived by: her brother Leon; her siblings-in-law, Nell Harris and Vernon Harris; her children, Ricky Harris of Elizabethtown, Alex Harris (Frances) of Alvaton and Wendi Kelley (Randall) of Bowling Green; her grandchildren, Cash Wilson (Amy) of Bowling Green, Micah Medrano (Ryan) of Portland, TN and Jack Kelley (Maria) of Mooresville, NC; her great grandchildren, Sophie Wilson, Bronx Medrano, Rorie Medrano, Carrigan Medrano, Haddie Anne Wilson and Hailey Wilson; her aunts, Connie Ballard (Bob) and Ticky Dyer; her siblings, Karen Tehrani, George Scott (Mary Ann), Sue Brashear (Stan) and Tim Scott (Susie); her sister-in-law Mildred Harris; her nieces and nephews, Mondy Bonaccorso (Guiseppe), Roxie Thomas (Marc), Dock Scott (Stephanie), Amber Scott, Autumn Scott, Jenna Dye (Josh), Angel Brashear, Alicia Monogioudis, Stacie Williams (John), Cam Scott, Billy Harris (Patty), Sandy Blain (Terry), Marty McQueen (Randy) and Mike Harris (Angela); and her extended family, Judy Haynes (Gary), Billy Russell (Carol) and Gwen Hymer (Raymond).
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 20th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, September 21st 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the J. C. Kirby & Son Lovers Lane Chapel (820 Lovers Ln, Bowling Green, KY 42103). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 21st 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
