He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Cecil Denton and Frances Elizabeth Baird Denton; and his daughter Catrina Wells. He is survived by: his wife Wanda Miller Denton; his children, Josh Denton, Jenny Garner (Rob), Jessie Cheatham and Jonathan Denton (Arnesa); his siblings, Evonne Duncan (Wayne), Carolyn Coates (Spencer) and Bobby Denton (Ann); his grandchildren, Vivien, Allison, Maddison, Ashley, Joey Jr., Liam and Ella; and his son-in-law Joey Wells. He is also survived by several great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Johnson Vaughn Phelps Funeral Home (901 Fairview Ave, Bowling Green, KY 42101). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
