She was predeceased by: her parents, Betty Pippin Phelps and Adam Phelps; her brother Leon Phelps; and her grandchildren, Tristian, Maddie, James, Jackson, Addison, Skyler and Ella Collier.
She is survived by: her husband Wilbur Cowles, Jr.; her children, Jennifer Cowles Collier (Steve) of Morgantwon and Wilbur "Will" Cowles (Brandy) of Ohio County; her grandchildren, Carson Landgrube of Morgantown and Taylor Cowles of Eubank; her brothers, Clyde Phelps (Linda) of Henderson, KY and Dwayne Phelps (Tammy) of Bowling Green; her close friends, Theresa Shelton (Steve) of Bowling Green and Alice Sullivan of Edmonson County; and her pet Lady. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews and many in laws.
