With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Howard Dale Thompson (Bowling Green, Kentucky), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 29, 2024 at the age of 73. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Anna Mae Thompson; his daughter Kristina Thompson; his stepdaughters, Monica Updegraff (Greg) and Janice Shaw (Tim); his grandchildren, Ethan Kole Bryant, Maycie Beth Sewell, Olivia Kate Sewell, Owen Conner Sewell, Shawndra Coleman, Tyler Shaw (Callie) and Madison Shaw; his siblings, Rickey Thompson, Audrey Thompson, Sue Keen (Mike), Joyce Gupton (Steve) and Diane Thompson Cox; his father Odell Howard Thompson; his son Shawn Thompson; and his brothers, Gary, Jake and David Thompson.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 2nd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, October 3rd 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hardy & Son Funeral Home (3098 Louisville Rd, Bowling Green, KY 42101). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 3rd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, October 3rd 2024 at the Smiths Grove Cemetery (270 Beeler Ave, Smiths Grove, KY 42171).
