Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Gilbert Wayne Grogan of Bowling Green, Kentucky, who passed away at the age of 78, on February 13, 2025. Though Gilbert may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Gilbert touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Cass Grogan and Hester Grogan. He is survived by: his wife Lynn Grogan; his daughter Kim Reynolds (Randy); his siblings, Rita Pierce, Phillip Grogan (Donna), Charles Grogan and Anthony Grogan (Oiin); and his granddaughters, Paige Tyson (Garrett) and Ashley Oktar (Eddie). He is also survived by five great grandchildren and four nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the J. C. Kirby & Son Lovers Lane Chapel (820 Lovers Ln, Bowling Green, KY 42103). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at the J. C. Kirby & Son Lovers Lane Chapel (820 Lovers Ln, Bowling Green, KY 42103).
