The memory of George Wesley Billingsley of Bowling Green, Kentucky, who passed away on December 22, 2024 at the age of 91, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Onie C. Billingsley and Mildred N. Slayton Billingsley; his wife Edna Spencer Billingsley; his siblings, Howard, Holman, Paul, Charlie, Johnny Billingsley, Marie Goode, Mary Ruth Hickman and Margaret Huffman; his brother-in-law Charlie Kirk; and his son-in-law Dr. Tim Hulsey.
He is survived by: his children, Cynthia Hulsey, Barry Billingsley (Sandy) and Denise Russell (Bill); his sisters-in-law, Brenda Kirk and Betty Boyd of Glasgow, KY.; his grandchildren, Seth Hulsey, Adam Billingsley (Lauren), Shelby Clayton (Will), Will Billingsley (Allie), Spencer Russell, Bryce Russell and Jake Russell; and his great grandchildren, Eloise Clayton, Quinn Clayton, Maggie Billingsley and Baker Billingsley.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 26th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Greenwood Park Church (1818 Campbell Ln, Bowling Green, KY 42104). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 26th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, December 26th 2024 at 3:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to Greenwood Park Church Taylor Christian Camp Scholarship Fund.
