It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ellen Gwendolyn McDaniel (Bowling Green, Kentucky), who passed away on October 24, 2024, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert W. "Welk" Pennington and Josephine Clemmons Pennington; her husband Garland Kirby McDaniel; her sons, Eddie McDaniel, Steve McDaniel and James Earl McDaniel; her granddaughter Stevie Marie McDaniel; and her great great grandchild Crue Gross.
She is survived by: her children, Bonnie Humphrey (Gerald), Vanessa McDaniel, Peggy Jackson (Robert), Barbara Hastings (Dean), Donnie McDaniel (Faye) and Phillip McDaniel (Vivian); and her sister-in-law Elizabeth Angle. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 27th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, October 28th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Hardy & Son Funeral Home (3098 Louisville Rd, Bowling Green, KY 42101). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 at the Plum Springs Cemetery (2080 Plum Springs Rd, Bowling Green, KY 42101).
