He was predeceased by: his parents, Othar Hightower and Margie Estes Gibbs. He is survived by: his wife Renate Hightower; and his children, Donald Hightower, Jr. (Amy) of Texas and Pamela Jean of Kansas. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
