Charlene Hester Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charlene Hester of Bowling Green, Kentucky, who passed away on November 21, 2024. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Charlene Hester to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Henry and Charlene; her husband Jesse Hester; her sons, Lanny Hester and Mark Hester; and her sister Dorothy Holland.
She is survived by: her son Jerry Hester (Shelia); her sister Ruth Holland; her nephew Kent Holland; her grandchildren, Amy Lawson, Jennifer Mihok (Robbie), Jill Strain, Leigh Ann Hester, Justin Hester (Lauren) and Lori George (Seth); and her daughters-in-law, Paula Hester and Pam Hester. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Johnson Vaughn Phelps Funeral Home (901 Fairview Ave, Bowling Green, KY 42101). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at the Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens (1940 Scottsville Rd, Bowling Green, KY 42104).
Family has requested memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Southern Kentucky.
