He was predeceased by: his parents, Sterling Carter and Ada Carter; and his siblings, Leonard Carter, Louise Brown, Betty Hines and Joyce Patton.
He is survived by: his children, David Brian Carter, Jonathan Andrew Carter (Kati) and Shannon Fuhrman; his sisters, June Ramsey (Kenneth) and Patricia Hallman; and his grandchildren, John, Dominic Fuhrman, Noah, Kayla and Alyssa Carter. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was a member of Hillvue Heights Church, Past Master of the Bowling Green Masonic Lodge # 73, a member of the Rizpah Shriners, the Bowling Green Country Club, the Bowling Green Jaycees and the Hilltopper Athletic Foundation.
