We are sad to announce that on August 5, 2024, at the age of 83, Bobby Gene Norwood of Bowling Green, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Bobby Gene may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Bobby Gene touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Norwood and Geneva Louise Pursley Norwood; and his sister Nora Norwood. He is survived by: his wife Nell Dunn Norwood; and his children, Bobby Gene Norwood, Jr., Jeffery Norwood, Connie Forrester, Susan Norwood, Kimberly Steen (Jeremy) and Christina Huff (Kelly). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren and his special girl.
