He was predeceased by: his parents, Hilery Gross and Thelma Hopper Gross; and his son Richard Gross. He is survived by: his wife Pauline Wilson Gross; his children, William Gross (Mearedia) of Bowling Green and Teresa Herrington (Dale) of Bowling Green; his grandchildren, Scottie Boone (Danielle) of Bowling Green, Tyler Herrington (Courtney) of Bowling Green and Hillary Williams (Cy) of Bowling Green; his great grandchildren, Logan, Hunter, Wyatt, Parker, Luca and Nolan; and his siblings, Judy Doolin (James), Jimmie Gross (Sandy) and Frankie Gross (Janice).
