She was predeceased by: her mother Myrna Gill Achterberg. She is survived by: her husband Charles "Chuck" Helit; her children, Tabitha Bailey (Hunter), Tiffani Ortiz (Erick), Charles M. Helit (Carolina), Caleb Helit (Lizzie) and Micah Helit (Karina); and her grandchildren, Ardon Ortiz, Chloe Bailey, Asher Ortiz and Peter Helit. She is also survived by siblings along with several nieces and nephews.
