He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Atwell and Louetta Atwell (Wright); and his brother-in-law Eugene Clymer. He is survived by: his wife Gayle Atwell (Compton); his daughter Karen McGee (Mark); and his granddaughters, Shania Jo Peerce and Faith Anne Peerce.
