He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellis Phelps and Alta May Phelps (Scoggins); his significant other Angela Jo Parker (Pickett); and his sister Martha Sue Phelps. He is survived by: his children, Leslie Miller and Joshua Collins of Bowling Green; his grandchildren, Jerrion Eskridge, Brittney Miller, Makayla Miller (Lily), John Miller (Annagail), Braeleigh Collins, Adalynn Collins, Laila Collins and Josian Collins; and his great grandchildren, Rosaleigh Eskridge and Graceleigh Eskridge.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the J. C. Kirby & Son Lovers Lane Chapel (820 Lovers Ln, Bowling Green, KY 42103). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
