He is survived by: his children, Christopher Kurtz (Lauren) and Amanda Rice; his grandchildren, Samuel, Teagon, Ezra, Dominic, Joshua and Emma; and his siblings, Joseph Kurtz III, Cathy Lanham, Pat Kurtz, Steven Kurtz, David Kurtz, William Kurtz, Sharon Lanham and Josh Smith.
