He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville Fox and Lizzie Brandenburg Fox; his siblings, Clint, Rufus, Otis Fox and Addie Fox; and his granddaughter Danielle Michelle Fox.

He is survived by: his children, Glenna McIntosh of Beattyville, Kentucky, Lawrence Fox (Della) of Sadieville, Kentucky, Virginia Fox (Tim) of Beattyville, Kentucky and Freida Bailey (Robert) of Beattyville, Kentucky; and his brother Hent Fox of Booneville, Kentucky. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
