She was predeceased by: her parents, Taylor Gilbert and Opal Gilbert (Gentry); her husband Earnest Riley; and her siblings, Stevie Gilbert, Jean Beaudoin, Linda Hoffman and Brenda Taulbee.
She is survived by: her daughter Tammy Lynn Riley; and her grandson Carl William Smith.
