She was predeceased by: her parents, William Banks and Nora Wade Banks; her husband Hughes Edward Marcum; and her children, Lester Dwayne Gumm and Shirley Kay Marcum.
She is survived by: her daughters, Brenda Creech (Michael) of Beattyville, KY and Judy Hamilton (Robert) of Ashland, KY; her brother Ray Banks of Middletown, KY; her grandchildren, Jason Creech (Bethany), Gary Hughes Marcum, Abigail Hamilton and Madelyn Hamilton; her great grandchild Colton "Bubba" Creech; and her pet Smokey.
