He was predeceased by: his parents, George Francis and Lily Christine Brewer Lynch; and his son Brandon Scott Lynch. He is survived by: his wife Anna Lou Cope Lynch of Booneville; his son Brent Douglas Lynch (Heather) of Booneville; his grandchildren, Dean Andrew Lynch (Payton) of Booneville, Brandon Scott Lynch II of Beattyville, Serena Alexis Lynch of Booneville, Aaliyah Marie Lynch of Booneville and Zayden Brent Lynch of Booneville; his great grandchildren, Ella Klae McWhorter of Booneville, Lydia Norscott Lynch of Booneville, Heidi Drew Lynch of Booneville and Kade Douglas Polly of Booneville; his daughter-in-law Angela Denise Lynch-Newnam (Mike) of Beattyville; and his sister Janie Coomer (Larry) of Booneville. He is also survived by cousins, other family, and many friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Royal Oak Baptist Church.
