She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Spencer and Haley Spencer; her husband Melvin Blanton; her son Larry Joe; her daughter-in-law Sandy Blanton; and her brothers, Lonnie and Billy Spencer.
She is survived by: her children, Garry Blanton (Diana) of Owensboro, KY, Jerry Blanton (Lilah) of Salt Lick, KY, Melvin Junior Blanton of Salt Lick, KY, Shirley Blanton (Sandy) of Winter Park and Debbie Botner of Beattyville, KY; and her brothers, Eddie Spencer (Jo Ann) of Florence, KY and Bobby Ray Spencer (Sharla) of Van Lear, KY. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
