Russell Riggs Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Russell Riggs of Bonnieville, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 21, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elijah T. Riggs and Daisy Watson Riggs; his wife Mary Riggs; his son Michael Riggs; his grandsons, Billy Wayne Riggs and Adam Lee Ward; and his siblings, Walter, Jim Riggs, Irene Logsdon and Flora Mae Pearson.
He is survived by: his children, Daryl Riggs, Brenda Ward and Wanda Choate; and his sister Frances Boggs. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Sego Funeral Home (114 W South St, Munfordville, KY 42765). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
