He was predeceased by: his parents, Arvle Thompson and Dovis Roller Thompson; his children, Michael, Timothy Thompson and Michelle Young; and his siblings, Bill, Bub, Bobby, J. C. Thompson and Ruby Thompson.
He is survived by: his siblings, Mary Fields and Marvin Thompson; and his grandchildren, Andrew, Jake, Quinten Thompson, Shannon Young, Hunter Young and Heather Young. He is also survived by 3 great-grandchildren.
