It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James D. Atteberry of Bonnieville, Kentucky, who passed away on May 21, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Delphus Atteberry and Juanitta Reynolds Atteberry; and his brother Ricky Atteberry. He is survived by: his wife Mary Katherine Atteberry; his children, Curtis Ray Atteberry, Scottie Atteberry (Chris), James Atteberry, Jr., Daisy Mae Alvey, Marilyn Tagalicod and Marcella Peters (Kendall); his stepdaughters, Connie Whitlow and Dianne Taylor; and his siblings, Margarett Hendrickson, Laura Brooks, Betty Pearl Breshear (Walter) and Tom Atteberry (Joye). He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
