He was predeceased by: his parents, Lois Horn Wallace and James Wallace; his stepdaughter Crystal Sturgeon; his siblings, John Henry, Fred, Billy, Paul Wallace and Daisy Taylor; his nephew Frank Sallee, Jr.; and his niece Erica Ross.

He is survived by: his wife Edith Jaggers Wallace; his sisters, Lottie Wallace, Mary Ross (Charles Lee), Judy Sallee, Dorothy Sallee (Steve) and Janet Wallace; and his stepdaughter Beth Bradley (Davey).
