He was predeceased by: his parents, James Riggs and Elvina Miller Riggs; his brothers, Houston Riggs, Jerry Riggs and Johnny Riggs; and his niece Lora Riggs.
He is survived by: his wife Ethel Jane "E. J." Sallee Riggs of Bonnieville, KY.; his sons, Bradley Riggs (Marianne) of Elizabethtown, KY, Cody Devore (Chasity) of Hardyville, KY and Benjamin Riggs of Bonnieville, KY; his siblings, Helen Dennis (Kenny) of Munfordville, KY, Freddy Riggs (Lee) of Rineyville, KY and Marvin Riggs (Brenda) of Bonnieville, KY; and his grandchildren, Alanna Riggs and River Devore.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Manakee Funeral Home (215 N Walnut St, Upton, KY 42784). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers donations be made to pay funeral expenses.
