She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Davis Houk and Elvira Defevers Houk; her husband Charles Dobbie Highbaugh; and her brothers, Roy and Joe Gordon Houk.

She is survived by: her sons, Marshall Highbaugh (Karen) of Bonnieville, KY and Marty Highbaugh (Mary) of Bonnieville, KY; and her grandchildren, Jessie Highbaugh of Bonnieville, KY, Brenda Marshell Tope of Clarksville, TN, Heather Parks of Cave City, KY and Ashley Pickerel of Glasgow, KY..
