He was predeceased by: his father Hubert Holifield; his wife Carol Ann Stinnett Holifield; his mother Margaret Wurth Holifield; and his siblings, Glenda Smith, Donald Holifield and David Holifield.
He is survived by: his children, Tony Holifield of Boaz and Breanne Mattson of Oregon; and his brother Harold Holifield of California.
