He was predeceased by: his father Marvin 'Roy Counts Jr.; and his brother Mike Lyn Counts. He is survived by: his mother Zelta L. Younker Counts of Boaz, Kentucky; his children, Alexandra 'Lexie Counts of Lincoln Park, Michigan and Kyle Counts (Dancy) of Wayne, Michigan; and his grandchildren, Julian Smith and Caroline Counts.
