He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Clayborn Steward and Sadie Lee Bivens Steward; his wife Patsy Griggs Steward; and his siblings, R. C. Steward, Lovene Reed, Allie Knight of Virginia, Betty Joan Cruse, Bobbie Jean Steward, Martha Petty and Charlotte Johnson.
He is survived by: his children, Joey Steward (Cathy) of Benton, KY., Patty Baker (Chester) of Paducah, KY and Kitty Dailey (Dave) of Paducah, KY.; and his siblings, Arthur "Bimmy" Steward (Kate) of Decaturville, TN, Roger Steward (Saundra) of Metropolis, IL. and Juanetza Pearcey (Jeff) of Parsons, TN. He is also survived by Several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great- great grandchildren.
