He was predeceased by: his wife JoAnn Berkley (Jackson); his parents, Tellaus Berkley and Carrie Berkley (Fisher); and his brothers, Bill Berkley, T. A. Berkley, Jack Berkley and Jimmy Berkley.
He is survived by: his sons, Rodney Berkley (Teresa) of Olive Branch, MS and Randy Berkley of Paducah; his sisters, Helen Leigh (Berkley) of Paducah and Patsy Griffith (Berkley) of San Antonio, TX; and his grandchildren, Justin Berkley, Kristen Summers, Tammy Crass and Jennifer Chillemi. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
