She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Housman and Alberta Housman; her former husband Elmer Teague Doggett; her husband Thomas Rankin; and her son Eddie Followay.

She is survived by: her children, Lynn Pressler, Teague Doggett (Mary), Mary Doughty (Joe) and Paul Doggett (Rhonda); and her grandchildren, Stacy Allen, Kim Smith, Jamie Followay, Cara Schierbaum, Jaqui Skinner, Cheryl Nickell and Josh Doggett. She is also survived by one brother; four sisters.

You won't remember me, but I'm the daughter of Arthur and Lucy Johnson, who lived 2 houses from the Bluegrass Restaurant. Betty and Mother were such good friends.
