He was predeceased by: his parents, George F. Brown and Ruth Ann Bromley; his wife Deborah Brown; and his pet Sasha. He is survived by: his son Lance Brown; his stepdaughter Lecia Nelly; and his siblings, Karen Yoquelet (Jim Nahrwold), Terry Brown (Marge), Cheryl Bandor (Bill), Jan Butler (Paulena), Jay Johnson, Debbie Hogren (Troy), Kerri Magnus (Curt) and Kevin Knight. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family members, and loving friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Louisville Metro Animal Services.
