He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Edwards and Dorothy Helen Jones Edwards; and his wife Annette Simpson Edwards. He is survived by: his children, Becky Johnson (Timmy) of Bardstown, Stephanie Stone (Barry) of Louisville and Brett Edwards (J. J.) of Louisville; his siblings, Donnie Edwards (Jeannie) of North Carolina and Lois Carney; his grandchildren, Morgan Sidebottom (Jordon), Brandy Deadwyler (Desmond), Tyler Johnson, Zach Edwards and Kevin Stone; and his great grandchildren, Reese Deadwyler, Eli Sidebottom and Liam Deadwyler.
